Michael DiBenedetto
Owner of Community II Heating & Air Conditioning, and the author of the advice on this site’s blog.
The owner
Michael runs Community II with his son, Anthony, from the shop at 39 Broad Street in Stapleton. The business began as a one-man operation and has grown into a crew of about seventeen — and Michael still goes out to look at jobs himself. A customer planning a 2,000-square-foot addition put it plainly in a review: “Michael the owner came the very next day.”
His training hangs on the office wall: professional certification from the Building Performance Institute in infiltration and duct leakage — the discipline of measuring how much air a house and its ductwork actually lose — alongside manufacturer training certificates collected over the years.
What he writes about
The blog covers what the phone is ringing about: the first cold night of the year, steam systems that bang, the parts that fail and when they fail, and how to tell a repair from a replacement. It’s written for homeowners by someone who does the work.
