What a Community II install looks like
Most replacement quotes on Staten Island are written off the nameplate of the dying unit — which was probably oversized when it went in during the Bush administration. We do a load calculation against your actual square footage, insulation, windows, and duct runs, then quote equipment that fits. On a borough full of semi-attached houses, finished basements, and attic air handlers, a properly sized system is the whole ballgame: it dehumidifies better, runs quieter, and lasts years longer.

Repair or replace?
If your system is under ten years old and the fault is a $400 part, we'll usually tell you to repair it. Past fifteen years, with a compressor going and R-22 refrigerant nobody makes anymore, replacement stops being a sales pitch and starts being arithmetic. We'll show you both numbers and let you decide.
No ducts? No problem.
