The North Shore is home. The shop is on Broad Street.
Stapleton is where Community II works from, so the North Shore gets the shortest drive on the Island — and the oldest houses, which is the work this crew knows best.

The houses here
The North Shore has the Island’s oldest housing: Victorians on the hills above St. George, pre-war row houses and two-families down by the water, and a lot of homes built around a boiler in the basement and a radiator in every room. Plenty of them have never had ductwork, and never will.
What we do most here
- Steam and hot-water boilers — repairs, repiping, and the banging pipes and cold radiators that come with an older system
- Boiler replacement — piped to the manufacturer’s diagram, not to how the old one was
- Ductless mini splits — cooling for houses that have no ducts, without opening a wall
- Water heaters — tank swaps in tight, low-ceilinged basements
Why it matters that the shop is close
When a steam boiler locks out on a January night, distance is time. From Broad Street, most North Shore addresses are a short drive rather than a trip across the Expressway.
